Privacy

The short, honest version of a privacy policy.

Modern Mommy is a blog, not a data operation. Here's exactly what happens when you visit, written the way I'd explain it over coffee.

Analytics

When analytics are enabled, we use anonymous, aggregate measurement to see which posts people read and where visitors come from — think "500 people read the capsule wardrobe post this week," not "here's what you personally clicked." We don't build profiles of individual readers.

Advertising pixels

This site may load Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising pixels, chosen based on your general region, so we can measure whether our own ads are working and show relevant ones. Pixels are standard across most of the web, but you can limit them with your browser's tracking protection, an ad blocker, or Meta's own ad preferences — the site works exactly the same without them.

Affiliate links

Many posts contain affiliate links through networks like ShopStyle Collective and similar programs. If you click one and buy something, the retailer pays us a small commission — the price you pay doesn't change. Posts that earn this way say so, and anything sponsored is clearly labeled as sponsored. Recommendations are never for sale: if something pills, digs, or runs small, we say it, commission or not.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal data. Ever. We also don't run a newsletter sign-up wall, require an account, or ask for anything personal to read the site.
