How I test things

Everything I recommend has been worn, washed, and dragged through at least one playground. If a waistband digs, I'll tell you. If something runs a half size small, that goes in the Fit Notes. If the cheaper version is genuinely just as good, I'll say so — even when the expensive one is prettier.
